2023 Herbal Star Garden

Starting at bottom center point moving clockwise: P1- Oregano, P2 - Spearmint, P3 - Sage, P4 - Cilantro and Epazote, P5 - Winter Savory, Dill, and Sweet Marjoram, P6 - Marshmallow and Boneset, Center - Lavender, Rosemary, Thai Basil, Sweet Basil, Lemon Basil.

St. John's Wort and Calendula seeds have been planted and will go in the middle portion of the star as well.

Trellis 1 and 2 - Side Garden

I ordered Morning Glory seeds to plant in two flower boxes, one beneath each of the iron trellises in this side garden. They are on the way. I likely will not get blooms this year, but hopefully the root systems will have time to get established.

Garden Box L1

Back Row: Lady Fern, Cinnamon Fern, Black Cohosh, Lady Fern. Front Corners: Nasturtium.  I added a Zion Osteospermum between the two sets of Nasturtium (Purple Sun, Denim Blue, Red, and Morning Sun). They look like technicolor daisies, love the sun, and are drought tolerant. I haven't quite decided what I am going to plant in the rest of this box. I have English Wallflowers and Forget-Me-Nots to add either here or in my front pollinator garden.

Garden Box R1

Back Row: Spotlight Blacknight Hollyhock, Spotlight Radiant Rose Hollyhock, Spotlight Blacknight Hollyhock, and Spotlight Radiant Rose Hollyhock. I have two Black Barrow Columbine in the front of this box. I need to take a new picture of those, and I have some Rose Star Columbine seeds ordered to sprout. This whole box will be combinations of black and pink flowers that are pollinator friendly.
